Giving back to the society has always been Tonia’s passion.

Apart from donating the proceeds of her book, Tonia has been creating opportunities for giving back in numerous ways.

A few of them include :

• In 2017, she founded http://www.hoteldonor.com , an online reservation travel company that donates to a Greek charity with every booking and fundraising event. Hotel  Donor supports charities like WWF, Chamogelo tou paidiou, Alma Zois and Elpida Association.
• She has been a member of the http://www.elpidayouth.gr committee since 2015 organising fundraisers and volunteering to support its causes.
• She has been organising fundraisers in collaboration with the French Film Festival and the French Embassy in Greece, the most recent one was a Gala dinner with the actress Emmanuel Beart raising awareness and funds for http://www.homeproject.org for the issue of lone refugee children and their families in 2022.
• She has been inviting actors and chefs in order to organise annual fundraising events like Sunday Brunch with Greek -Italian actress and chef Dorothea Mercuri supporting the 2023 earthquake victims in Syria. 
• She supported the renovation of the museum in Andros through Hotel Donor transforming it into a modern cultural space that blends art, ethnography and design as well as hosting exhibitions and events with purpose to explore local traditions as well as Andros’ maritime heritage.
